Design Brief:

• Design a stylish modern apartment with use of rich materials and latest technology
• Designing each room different, to have its unique feature keeping in mind the age disparity of adults residing here.
• To design their mandir with keeping in mind the space for their festive deity.
• To merge the designs without deviating from the concept.
• Vaastu principals to be followed.

Planning:

• The home is designed on modern lines and has been accentuated with veneers, leather back painted glass and different designs in each room.
• The living room forms the centre of attraction with a pattern highlighted on ceiling and replicated exactly the same way on the flooring. The design that replicates on the ceiling and the floor has irregular triangular shaped patterns with cove lights in each triangle on the ceiling, to create dynamism. The LCD unit is designed in chevron pattern to highlight the unit & break the monotony of the room created because of the ceiling and floor design.
• The master bedroom is designed using different color burled veneer which has English grey tone to it. The same veneer has been used on part ceiling area with pattern.
• The master toilet has hexagon shaped ceiling dropping onto the bigger wall. Mirrors and artificial vegetation highlighting the mirror wall.
• The kids room, has a patterned ceiling right in the centre of the room. The sides of the beam has been covered with mirror to give a sense of continuity in the ceiling. Apart from ceiling the main highlight of the bedroom is the full length & full height wardrobe that hides a small walk-in-wardrobe space inside it. The wardrobe also has a small nitche to break the monotony of a huge furniture piece kept inside the room.
• The mandir room is designed in a way that it gets multiused as a guest bedroom. It accommodates a sofa cum bed . The highlight of the space is the mandir itself that has pattern highlighted in golden color.
• The common toilet placed next to the mandir room has light at the floor level too.
